ALO urged to speed up implementation of Kuwait Summit resolutions

CAIRO: Undersecretary of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor Mohammed Al-Kandari stressed here yesterday the need to speed up the implementation of all resolutions issued by the Kuwait Economic Summit, especially with regard to the social and economic affairs to contribute to the reduction of the problems faced by the Arab peoples.

Al-Kandari said on the sidelines of the 38th session of the Arab Labor Organization (ALO) held here that the State of Kuwait and its political leadership are keen to move forward to activate joint Arab action through participation in various events held by all Arab organizations.

He noted in this context to the Kuwait's proposal for the establishment of a fund to support small and medium enterprises in the Arab States, which will contribute significantly to the reduction of unemployment prevailing in different Arab countries.

Al-Kandari pointed out that this initiative, which was sponsored by His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, reflects HH the Amir's belief that the Arab citizen is the real wealth for the Arab nation and must be granted a decent living.

He called on the ALO to expedite the implementation of the measures taken to implement the resolutions of the Kuwait Economic Summit on the integrated program to support employment and reduce unemployment in the Arab countries and to support development in Arab countries and the promotion of productive projects. On the 38th ALO session, Al-Kandari said that "this session was of special importance as it came amidst great political transformations and exceptional circumstances witnessed by the Arab states of
