About this game
A UT espionage shooter based on the UT universe. You play a Liandri based Secret Op going out on several missions. The aim is to create a game which contains actions and the ability to sneak around. Industrial Espionage is everything!
FAQ (by LivingTarget)
Q: For which game is this mod?
A: Currently we are working with UnrealTournament the original, but in the future we will continue on any of the other Unreal next generation engines. We would've liked to said we would feature episode2 on Unreal2, but that's doubtful with Legend (R.I.P) now being ditched.

Q: When is it out?!
A: We are one of the rare mods with open betatesting, being made for an old engine and so on. This means every now and then we release a new version on the scene. If you feel to discuss this then go to the forum. The final version we hope will be in your hand end 2004. That date is just a goal i'm going to set us, we've already been in the works for a few years.

Q: What kind of gametype are you aiming at?
A: We will feature a single player storyline. You are a Liandri agent with license to kill. You can sneak around, but the pace should be still up to unreal terms. It's just supposed to be a lot of fun. Also worth mentioning is that we include the spinoff gametype SA: Hunted. You can play this in any DM map and you'll have to kill all the enemy bots to claim victory. All weapons are replaced with their SA counterparts and you have the full range of features available to you.

Q: What kind of advantages does the spy have?
A: Currently the spy has Stealth mode. You can get completely invisible to your enemies for a few seconds, then your stealth needs to recharge. Your enemies will still fire at your last position, to prevent a lot of abuse.

Q: Why are you working on a UT version while the new engines are hitting the scene? Isn't that just a waste of time?
A: The Team is quite young to the modding scene so we try to get used to it. Each step we already take on the UT ladder is not a black area in the future! I learn each day from my coding and that's important.

background story:

  • We have 3 mining companies that formed the New Earth Government (NEG), but they are enemies. These companies possess the resource that the people are depending on, which is Tarydium. Tarydium fuels most of the planet, which means corporate struggle for control of the Tarydium supplies.
  • The old government split into 2 parties: a group of wealthy people who decided to move to unexplored planets and flee from the chaos. The second party bears arms and see themselves as cops with a mission to clear the streets, no matter what the price may be.
  • Liandri, the largest and most powerful corporation, becomes corrupt after years of success, the effect of their holodeck tournaments fading over the years. Most cities consist of a high tech center where all the large corporations are located. Outside this center (also named 'core'), gang rule goes into effect, making these outer parts of cities unsavory compared to the core. However, this highly depends on which planet you are located.

Character's history:

The first eight years of your existence are quite foggy; you cannot remember anything from that time. At the age of nine you became a member of a street gang. You learned a great deal about urban survival here, including excellent weapon skills. You clawed your way upward in the gang and became a trusty advisor of the gang leader, earning respect. You remained an advisor for a few years until you angered the leader.

At the age of fourteen you killed the gang leader in a duel. You took over this position soon after, but were unable to enjoy it for too long. In your youthful stupidity you convinced the gang to attack a Tarydium transport that was en route from a Liandri industrial area to the core of the city.

The attack was well coordinated and you managed to hijack a transport loaded with Tarydium. Casualties were minimal, as this transport had little in the way of an escort. Liandri placed a large reward on your head that was just too tempting for a gang member to overlook. Elite Liandri assault teams caught everyone off guard at the hideout, eliminating everyone but you. They took you prisoner and hauled you off to Liandri Headquarters.

After an extensive interrogation, a top Liandri official offered you a place in Liandri's espionage branch. Death being your only other option, you took the job. The traitor of your gang received his reward in the form of bullet holes in his chest. He should have known better then to trust Liandri when it comes to money. Liandri placed you in a grueling espionage training program, teaching you everything you needed to know about being a spy. You are eighteen when you can finally utilize these skills in real mission. After several successful missions you became Liandri's top agent. Twenty-one is the age you reach before the first SA chapter starts!

Your mission? Infiltrate opposing organizations, gather intelligence, steal prototypes or blueprints, and keep Liandri on top.
