Education, Training and Information

The activities of the SafeCrop network partners, institutions, universities, and associated private companies span from basic research to applied field testing, The interaction among the SafeCrop partners, hinges the R&D from the university laboratory to the field. SafeCrop is a guaranty for in depth formation for young researchers and experts using exchanges and for mobility among the partner institutions of its collaborators. SafeCrop mobilizes the highest evaluated scientist and experts for special meetings and for schooling purposes. SafeCrop can deliver expertise at various requested levels specially designed for a particular public (scientific or non scientific).
SafeCrop hosts regular courses for any level of education, in collaboration with its partners and with various Universities. Example is the viticulture course for European PhD. Students. The course held at the Agrarian Institute of San Michele a/A in the month of September. The teaching staff of the course are researchers and technician of the Agrarian Institute and SafeCrop. Other activities, for the SafeCrop personnel and in some cases also for the IASMA personnel, are dedicated to the professional growth of the researchers. Yearly the centre promotes courses for scientific publication writing, for office automation (Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and for the improvement of the statistical knowledge in the data analysis.
Personal training of particular techniques (molecular marker development, BCA-testing, population studies) are organized on a individual contract and may involve one or more of the SafeCrop partners. A personal training curriculum may need mobility and can be of variable length.
