I scrolled on down here to complain about how useful this list isn't, but I see several other people already have the same idea. Some of these are cool (that twist shaker looks pretty sweet, for instance), but those ice cubes... they eclipse any other complaint I might have had.
Mr. Ang does seem to have a valid point about this being the "fine life" section, but anyone coming to any Internet site for tips on fine living is not someone who is cut out for the fine life.
Also, how weird is it that AskMen considers 2/5 stars to be "average"? Set your standards a little higher.
Hey Miranda,
How about some articles we can use? I can certainly think of better ways to spend $350.
sure the things showed here are ridiculously expensive, but you guys do know that this is posted in the FINE LIVING section right? the fact that the title "Fine Living: Must-Own Barware" is posted under this section obviously means high end barware. good day.
How about instead $90 for an ice tray that doesn't even work, spend $88 for all the booze and $2 on an actually ice tray??? dumba$$
These trays are AWFUL. Gucci charged my mother $90.00 because she got them for me as a present and you cannot even get the ice out. It’s such a joke. And their so-called return policy prohibits me from returning them in any way because I used them. Apparently, GUCCI failed to test the effectiveness of their own product and has no problem sticking it to my mother for $90.00 because of their failure.
Honestly you thinks he cares if her ice cubes are in the shape of the gucci monogram on her purse...i didnt think so. Im all for splurging once in a while but any guy who buy that pretentious garbage is compensating for a little something, just try and guess what.
I was already wondering how I could affford all these things and a manhattan apartment. An icemaker is a smarter investment then Gucci ice tray. For a great bar you need glassware, mixing glasses, ice scoop, champagne bucket, wine chillers, Nice classic decanters, maybe a tray or two, none of which is recommended. And We can find all of these in simple and manly design without dropping $90 for one ice tray and a forture on all the other recommendations.
Must-have barware? A $90 Gucci ice cube tray? You're kidding me. Ditto on the revoking of the Man Card.
I think a Logan's peanut bucket is perfect for beer or wine...
Any "man" who drops $90 on an ice-cube tray or $350 on a champagne bucket ought to have his Man Card revoked.
What do you think?
