LBP water, Pirates update incoming

New trophies tease incoming content updates
It seems like the water levels for LittleBigPlanet that we spied at Gamescom earlier this year are just around the corner, along with the Pirates of the Caribbean content pack.

A list of new trophies have been added to the game that make mention of "levels that contain water," challenging players to both complete and create levels with the wet stuff.

The 11 new trophies also make reference to "Pirates of the Caribbean bubble prizes", pointing to the arrival of new DLC packs for Sack Boy's platformer any moment now (next week's PSN Update, maybe?).

We've asked Sony. In the meantime, here's the list of new trophies, courtesy of PS3Trophies:

  • Silver - The Bends - Achieve a Score of 7000 in the Diving for Treasure Survival Challenge

  • Bronze - PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN Booty Master - Collect all of the PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN prize bubbles

  • Bronze - Beast Slayer - Destroy the KRAKEN boss

  • Bronze - Ace Port Royal - Ace Port Royal

  • Bronze - Tributary - Publish a level containing WATER

slightly off topic but - i really enjoyed LBP but found the levels really hard! i'm a pretty seasoned gmaer and have finished many many games but gave up about halfway through the japanese levels as found them frustratingly dificult.

Was that just me??

The jumping physics are slightly off and dont have the precision of a game like mario but it's just something you get used to.

A comparison would be Killzone 2 how some people just can't used to it.

Having said that I am a master of challenging levels in LBP and skill does help.

When I got LBP, I played for a bit and came to the conclusion it was a bit overhyped. The controls felt 'off', and I kept failing even a the simple levels.
I dusted it off a few weeks later and then suddenly I just 'got it'... and completed the game. Got all the prize bubbles too.
Superb game. The user created levels are great too, if you can wade through the rubbish.

Pretty much agree with every word you typed. It has got easier to find the best levels now by the way.
