Warlock of Firetop Mountain iPhone details

Choose your own touch screen adventure
Big Blue Bubble isn't just working on a DS version of the first Fighting Fantasy game book, The Warlock of Firetop Mountain. It's also working on an iPhone version that'll be with us this Christmas.

Main features of the iPhone version are:

  • Tap the on screen buttons to flip pages (No papercuts!)
  • Shake to roll the dice using the accelerometer
  • Inventory items selectable via touch-screen
  • Game-save feature allows you to retrace your steps
  • Beautifully painted illustrations

That is looking incredibly lame compared to a lot of other games I have seen on the iPhone.

If it don't improve in quality dramatically, I'll just go out and get it again in paper back.


- I've just seen the video for the DS version. Now that is more like it (!) After playing COD-WAW:Zombies on the iPhone, I don't see why this can't get closer to what is coming out on the DS.

Gosh! I remember this game on the Sinclair ZX Spectrum! It was written by Simon Brattel & Niel Mottershead and published by Crystal Computing who became Design Design software...
