Online since 2001, NinDB has been collecting information on games developed and published by Nintendo, from their earliest arcade games right up to the Nintendo DS and Wii. You will find information on the popular Mario, Zelda and Pokemon games, classics such as Ice Climber and Balloon Fight, to Japan-only titles such as Famicom Detective Club and New Onigashima.

After over a year of no updates Nintendo Database returns as NinDB.
You may have already heard from other sites, but IGN-Gamespy are closing their free hosting services this month. While this site has been inactive for over a year, I have in fact been rebuilding the site. The announcement simply gave me a deadline. I'd like to extend my thanks to the sites that offered me hosting following the announcement, especially to Megabyte of Kontek.net who has provided the site with its new home.
You'll notice the navigation has been stripped down to three search options. The search by system option is still available, but I have made a lot of changes to search by series (formerly the franchise pages). Divided into series on the left and individual games on the right, you can see all of the franchises Nintendo has to date. When you check out a gamepage, the series search bar across the top gives you a link back to that series, as well as links to the previous and next games in that series. This is a neat new feature that lets you browse through a series' history easily.
As a result of the deadline, I have had to make some sacrifices. Cameos and features have had to be taken down short term, as there have simply been too many new cameos in the last couple of years. When they return, they will appear connected to the series they represent rather than the games they appear in.
Other than that, the site has been largely brought up to date with the latest game releases worldwide, including WiiWare and DSi Ware, and backdated to include the entire Game & Watch catalogue.
There have been a lot of changes. I hope you enjoy browsing the new NinDB, and keep coming back for the return of the cameos, and the updates still to come.
