X2 Kadish Vault Music

May 27th 2004

A clip from Path of the Shell.

First Link - Feast of the Maker

April 12th 2004

A few clips of music that were a bit more orchestral in nature taken from music that was written for the fans as well as an unused piece.

Uru E3 Trailer Music

May 25th 2003

This is the exact audio track taken from the Uru E3 trailer of May 2003, it has been slightly enhanced with volume leveling. It is not perfectly clear because of the high compression of the original trailer, if a higher quality version comes out we will replace it, but this is all we have for the time being. You can download the trailer in the Movies section.

Barons Office

November 9th 2002

This 30-second music clip is the first one to be posted at the new Cyan Worlds site. Very emotional music. It is similar the the "Feast of the maker" song that was on Tim's MP3 site for a wile. Too bad the clip is so short...

Clip Two

February 8th 2002

This latest piece of Mudpie music sounds much more instrumental and is very fast paced. Thanks to RIUM+ for finding this.
QUOTE
Tim was in Cyan Chat and I asked for a clip, he said it was a reasonable request "ask and ye shall recieve..." and said it had been a while, and asked if I'd prefer sound effects or music. I went for music, cause that'd be longer! ^_^ He said he'd see what he could do, and I understood that you can't just put up whatever and have to ask first, and so a few days later he came back in, I asked if it was up, and he said it was up, and it was there in D'ni guild! Clip One

?

This piece of Mudpie music sounds much closer to the other MYST games' music than the other clips. Very intense music! The quality isn't that high, though.

Mx01

?

This was the second piece of Uru (then called Mudpie) music released, it has a very dramatic sound to it. Where could music like this be used?

Badlands

?

This song is very different, nothing like I've ever heard before. It truly is interesting. It was the first Mudpie music released, you can also listen to it in the realMYST preview trailer. Little did we know then it was really from Uru (then called mudpie)!

Eder Kemo KI Audio Regular
Eder Kemo KI Audio Enhanced

June 19th 2003

Taken from the DRC site:
QUOTE
KI f7. This sample is from Eder Kemo during one of its frequent storms. Still several playback issues. We have made a bit of progress with the higher frequencies and reducing the quantization noise. We'll try to make adjustments at the Host next. [XAD 0.4 msecs. Hv3.3 Sv1.42] Laxman

Teledahn KI Audio Regular
Teledahn KI Audio Enhanced

May 20th 2003

Taken from the DRC site:
QUOTE
KI f4. Still having trouble with KI audio recording. Sample provided from Teledahn using yet another KI model (f) found in the Well. Issues with both regular frequency and white noise. Don't know if it's coming from the KI, the Host, or the conversion process. We'll try another KI (f7) next time and see what changes. (Interesting Note: Not sure what they're using to pick up the sound - nothing like a diaphragm is apparent. Suspect fine crystalline threads.) [XAD 0.23 msecs. Hv3.3 Sv1.38] Laxman

A Bridge Falls

?

I don't think they lie ;) it sounds like a bridge falling. Perhaps the one lonelyto25 mentioned in his report?

Yikes!

?

Um...something falling perhaps? A person? Into water This has got to be the strangest sound released...

Can You Guess?

?

A very mechanical sounding thingamajig.
