As Editor of Music4Games.Net and a prolific promoter of video game music, Greg has raised the value of the art form of music for video games, solidified the artist recognition factor and artistic merit for video game music composers and established the video game soundtrack as a commercial and artistic commodity. Widely recognized as a leading authority on contemporary video game music, Greg consulted for The Barbican’s “Game On” exhibition, the first international touring exhibition to celebrate the art and culture of video games. In 2003, he lobbied for and secured the British Academy Award (BAFTA) for best original music in a video game and moderated the Society of Composers and Lyricists’ (SCL) first seminar on "Writing Music for Games." In 2006 Greg was consulted by Viacom-owned GameTrailers TV on the induction of the "Best Original Video Game Score" category in the MTV Video Music Awards (VMAs). He is also consultant and moderater for the MIDEM Music For Images Conference which has featured leading industry figures such as Artist/Musician/Producer Nile Rodgers (Founder, Sumthing Else Music Works), Alastair Lindsay (Music Manager, Sony Computer Entertainment), Nick Wiswell (Audio Director, Bizarre Creations), Richard Jacques (Composer, Headhunter), Nithin Sawhney (Composer, Heavenly Sword) and Jesper Kyd (Composer, Assassin's Creed).

Greg also currently serves as an advisory board member of the Game Audio Network Guild (G.A.N.G.) and Soundtrack peer member of the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences (AIAS). Greg was the first recipient of the Game Audio Network Guild Recognition Award and has been featured in The Hollywood ReporterThe Chicago TribuneThe Complete Guide to Game Audio (CMP Books), Billboard Magazine, BBC Radio, Game Development Essentials: An Introduction (Delmar Cengage Learning), The Book of Games Volume 2 - The Ultimate Reference in Videogames (GameXplore) and Prima Games' Paid to Play: An Insiders Guide to Video Game Careers (Random House).

Prior to these achievements in the video game industry, Greg was formerly the press officer for “The Orange” live music venue in west London. The Orange was one of London’s premier A&R hotspot venues and played host to numerous up and coming and popular British music artists such as Radiohead, Jamiroquai, 3 Colors Red, Moloko and Feeder. The Orange was also the venue for “Live at The Orange,” the world’s first live on-screen interactive music program produced by the Videotron cable TV company.

Valerie Vickers | Director

Valerie’s main focus is championing musical talent and building Music4Games as the international destination and global hub for game music. As Director of Music4Games, Inc., the company behind the award-winning website Music4Games.Net, Valerie oversees all of Music4Games’ services including artist development, IP enhancement, branding, education, cross-promotions, global/local positioning, consultation, record label procurement, product management, soundtrack promotions, publicity and market research.

Valerie’s experience in the music industry spans from concert promotion to A&R working with numerous platinum selling albums and #1 hit singles by some of the biggest names in the music business. Her entry into the music industry began as a booking agent assistant in New York for acts like AC/DC, Def Leppard, Elvis Costello, Iron Maiden and Neil Young. In Publicity, Valerie was part of the Press division which broke Bon Jovi at PolyGram Records, along with a press roster including John Cougar Mellencamp and KISS.

Valerie was the Personal Assistant for the Head of A&R at Elektra/Asylum Records working with critically acclaimed artists such as Ruben Blades, Billy Bragg, Happy Mondays, Danny Gatton, The Sugarcubes and celebrated rock acts Metallica and Motley Crue. Valerie was the International A&R Manager for The Cure, Kraftwerk, Dave Stewart and Bjork for Elektra Entertainment Group, and later relocated to London where she held an International A&R role with One Little Indian Records. She also served as Label Manager for garage label Chocolate Boy Recordings, which garnered the UK and European #1 hit single “Sweet Like Chocolate.” In film, Valerie has liaised on music placement for blockbuster movies such as Oliver Stone’s The Doors starring Val Kilmer, JFK starring Kevin Costner and Cocktail starring Tom Cruise.
