Greetings,

The Constitution of Malaysia underlines three main functions of the Election Commission, namely: to review and delimit parliamentary and state constituencies; to prepare an updated electoral roll; and to conduct general elections and by-elections. All these duties and responsibilities involve the interest of the main clients of the Commission, namely the government, political parties and the people who are generally registered electors. The Commission's effort to forge a continuous relationship with its clients is to ensure better understanding and to further expedite the implementation of the three main functions. In this regard, the Election Commission Website will act as a channel to disseminate information as well as to efficiently and effectively receive and respond to feedback.

This website will be an avenue for the Commission to interact with its clients in its endeavor to assist them to have a better and deeper understanding on matters related to the conduct of elections and its related activities. The public will the be able to surf the Election Commission website and obtain information as well as accurate answers on any issues raised. The website can also be another avenue to check the electoral roll.

In line with the implementation of the electronic government in the Civil Service, the Commission strives to improve the quality of its ICT services to make it more convenient for the general public to gain access to election-related matters. In this regard, the Commission welcomes feedback and constructive comments towards enhacing and improving the implementation of duties and responsibilities entrusted upon it.
