New Xbox 360 Blog Header
Dave Clayman got me thinking about making animated blog headers and this is what I came up with today.
Making something that look cools and still loads fast is tough. Thoughts?

MS Thinks We're All Losers
They must. Why else would they make this Valentine's Day themed page that clearly informs us that, as gamers, we shouldn't expect much as far as love interests go.
Is this page really serious? The banner encourages you to make a date with a piece of technology. Then it goes on to tell you some great ways you can hope to forget your loneliness and depression by playing games and gives some hot tips for getting your ass dumped if you do have a significant other:
"Boycotting romance? Spend Valentine's Saturday playing Lost Planet: Extreme Condition from dusk 'til dawn."
"Valentine's Day is Wednesday. Face it, you're not going out. Stay home and trade piñatas with the ones you love."
The bold was added there by me to make it sting more.
"Hardcore and Ms Pac-Man, sitting in a tree … Oh and Lara, Jade, Alyx, etc, etc. Hardcore is easy."
I don't even know what that means.
"The Xbox community chimes in on ways to encourage a girlfriend or wife to take the Xbox 360 controller for a spin."
Yep. I'm sure that's what my girlfriend wants for Valentine's Day; me using arguments found on the internet for why she should play games with me.
Ugh. I guess it is hard to market a gaming product for Valentine's Day, but this is just silly.

Astronaut Sex Scandal!
According to CNN, this is huge news.
Are astronaut love scandals and attempted criminal acts any more important than ones committed by you or I? Of course they are. They're out of this world! GET IT?
Let's take a few random quotes from the story and make them funny, because otherwise this cold I have is going to kill me. If the amount of meds I'm pounding don't.
"Police say both women were in a relationship with astronaut Bill Oefelein, and that Nowak traveled 900 miles to kidnap and kill Shipman."
900 miles? That's it? This is an astronaut. They fly around the world like they're going to the corner store.
"It is standard procedure for astronauts to wear diapers when they suit up for launch and re-entry."
And I'm done.
