RFE/RL: Harassment In Uzbekistan
RFE/RL is one of the leading international news organizations covering Uzbekistan, and it was one of the only organizations on the ground during the Andijon events. Since the May events, RFE/RL's correspondents in Uzbekistan have been subject to a systematic campaign of harassment and intimidation intended to hamper our efforts to report objectively. Below is a chronology of this campaign up to the present.  
Focus on Farda
"Focus on Farda" is a review of news, analysis and coverage of events concerning Iran by the staff of Radio Farda ("Radio Tomorrow") -- a joint effort by two entities of the Broadcasting Board of Governors -- Radio Free Europe/Radio Liberty and the Voice of America that broadcasts 24/7 to Iran via medium Wave (AM), short wave and satellite. "Focus on Farda" is distributed both to RFE/RL staff and to hundreds of external contacts, and is produced by the Communications Divison of RFE/RL. Archive
