Duke University School of Law

Alumni

Welcome

One of Duke Law School's greatest strengths is the diverse student body that comes to Durham each year from all over the world to study law. Not surprisingly, our 8,000 alumni can be found in cities large and small across the United States and overseas. Yet as geographically dispersed as we may be, we enjoy numerous opportunities to connect and reconnect with one another and with Duke, such as the annual alumni reunions in Durham, special events and gatherings, publications both print (Duke Law Magazine) and electronic (eNEWS), and now this website, which has been redesigned to facilitate increased communication among all members of the Duke Law community no matter their geographic location.

As president of the Law Alumni Association Board, I invite you to increase your involvement in our community - by returning to campus to recruit for your firm, by participating in your class reunions, by organizing an alumni event in your city, by being a resource for students and other alumni, and by giving financially. The connections you maintain with other alumni, students, faculty and administrators drive the vitality of the Duke Law community. We look forward to hearing from you.

I invite you to explore the links on these pages and let us know what you think. The website is a work in progress and we value your feedback as the redesign phase continues. Please also update Duke Law and your classmates of your important news, career and personal moves. We want to do as much as we can to make it easier for you to continue to keep your Duke Law connections strong.

With warm regards,

Susanne I. Haas LL.M. ‘85, JD ‘87
