Jesse Watters responded to Senate Judiciary Committee Member Sheldon Whitehouse, who said that Republicans are acting in "bad practice" and are refusing to treat the accuser of Judge Brett Kavanaugh with the proper respect.
Whitehouse, a Rhode Island Democrat, said Congress should allow the "investigative process" to play out before voting whether to confirm Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court.
Committee Chairman Charles Grassley (R-Iowa) previously scheduled a hearing for Kavanaugh and accuser Christine Blasey Ford for this coming Monday.
"This is such bad practice that even if they were to ram this guy through, as soon as Democrats get gavels [as the majority party] we’re going to want to get to the bottom of this," Whitehouse said on CNN.

"You can’t ignore a crime victim’s claim that something happened [and] refuse to investigate [and] throw her up into the stand without the least bit of support for her," he continued.

"He's a liar," Watters responded on "The Five."
Watters said Republicans have given Democrats ample opportunities to meet and investigate the case and to question Kavanaugh -- "but they abstained."
"He doesn't want to investigate," Watters said. "You're obviously not an honest broker in the process."
Watters said some Democrats are playing politics to "rally the base" and that they want to go "all in" against the Trump administration after the November elections.
