Greg Gutfeld honored the life of the late Sen. John McCain in his monologue on "The Five" Monday.
Gutfeld said that too many people in life try to fit into certain "holes," but that McCain was different.
"It's your job to do what John McCain did. Never willingly fit. Never lie down and quit. Make a fuss, [and] make everyone work harder," he said.
Gutfeld said that a life can be measured by the "size of the hole" needed to fit that person's "peg."

He said that McCain had an outsized effect on America in that way.
"He was a square peg in the world capital of round holes (Washington)," Gutfeld said.
"He owned his thoughts, critics be damned. He was feisty, funny and real."
