Democrats and critics of President Trump are increasingly questioning his mental health and fitness for office.

A group of Democrats, led by Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Md.), have signed onto an initiative that could lead to President Trump's removal using 25th Amendment powers.

Shannon Bream reported this morning that the bill - which calls for a panel to examine Trump's mental stability - has 28 co-sponsors and many more Democrats are expected to join when Congress returns.

Earlier this week, former DNI James Clapper directly questioned President Trump's fitness for office, suggesting Trump's access to the nuclear codes could be a threat to national security.

Sen. Bob Corker (R-Tenn.) also recently questioned the president's "competency" after his response to the Charlottesville riots.

"The Five" co-host Juan Williams responded on "America's Newsroom" this morning, cautioning Democrats against attacking Trump's mental fitness as a political strategy.

"I don't think it's a winner for the Democrats," he said, adding the party needs to focus on its own vision for the country.

But he said the questions over Trump's fitness for office isn't just from Democrats after the president's repeated "Twitter storms," attacks on Republicans and "reckless" statements.
