Rep. Marsha Blackburn, (R-TN), called on Congress to stop stalling on health care, saying the Affordable Health Care Act is "proving to be unaffordable."
"You cannot accept the status quo of the Afforable Care Act because it is proving to be unaffordable," she told "America's News HQ."
In Nashville, Blackburn said, people say ObamaCare needs to go because they are paying too much and sometimes "choose to pay the penalty to the IRS" instead of buying insurance.
Blackburn has been especially outspoken on pro-life issues surrounding the health bill, demanding that the federal government defund Planned Parenthood, the nation's biggest abortion supplier. The Senate version of the health bill still cuts funding for the abortion giant, which Blackburn applauded.

The bill "restores pro-life principles and expands women’s access to health services," the congresswoman said in a statement, adding that the Planned Parenthood funding will be redirected to community health centers across the country that outnumber Planned Parenthood.
The Tennesee congresswoman said the House sent a "solid bill" over to the Senate.
"I think [the president] is right to lay the challenge out there. Do something," Blackburn stated.
"It is not a good situation," she went on. "Opening up the health insurance marketplace is going to be better."
