Will Carr reported on "Happening Now" today from inside the rented home of the husband-and-wife terrorists who killed 14 people in San Bernardino, California.
Just before the FBI announced that it is now investigating Wednesday's mass shooting at an office holiday party as an act of terrorism, a landlord allowed the media to go inside the apartment.
The FBI said it had cleared the Redlands apartment and turned it back over to the owner, who pulled down a piece of plywood that was covering the front door and told news crews they could enter.
Reporters could be seen rifling through boxes, documents and drawers.
Carr took us through some of the things seen inside the home of Syed Farook and Tashfeen Malik, which was shared with Farook's mother and the couple's six-month-old daughter.
Boxes of diapers, a treadmill, a Koran, a Muslim prayer rug were observed inside. Other outlets showed footage of photos and documents, including a Social Security card.
Former FBI assistant director Bill Gavin said this afternoon that the media being allowed into the residence at this time is "extremely unusual."
Earlier today, Fox News confirmed that Malik had pledged allegiance to ISIS in an online posting. Police said the couple had pipe bombs and a huge arsenal of firearms and ammo at the home.
