Charles Krauthammer said that Attorney General Jeff Sessions' testimony "exposed the absurdity of the whole exercise."

Krauthammer said that by Sessions stating for the record that he had no nefarious contact with the Russians, he continued the unraveling of Democrats' case against Trump.

"This is supposed to be about Russia meddling in our election... then it was supposed to be about collusion," he said.

Krauthammer said none of the published leaks from the White House show anything that "implicates" President Trump.

"I'm open to empirical evidence," he said. "I used to be a doctor."

"Trying to tag [the allegations] on Sessions is absurd," he said.

Krauthammer said Sessions' testimony continued to prove that allegations against Trump are "all smoke, no fire."
