Tucker Carlson said that ongoing "strategic" leaks are an "utter perversion" of the American government system.
Carlson said that Attorney General Jeff Sessions' hearing is the latest evidence that politics now revolves around misleading information.
He said Trump-Russia collusion allegations began snowballing after unnamed sources leaked to the press that President Trump allegedly conspired with Vladimir Putin.

"We're seeing something new here," Carlson said. "These are strategic leaks" from classified information.
He called the leaks an "utter perversion of our system."
Carlson recounted how Gen. Michael Flynn's identity was unmasked, leaked and used for political gain.
"Once bureaucracy (the intelligence agencies) shoves aside elected government... democracy is over," he said.
