In Congressional testimony, Attorney General Jeff Sessions dismissed any claims that he helped collude with Russia in order for President Trump to win the election.
Sessions said he could not believe that members of the Senate Intelligence Committee would doubt his loyalty to the United States.
"I was your colleague in this body for 20 years," Sessions, a former Alabama senator, said.

"The suggestion that I participated in any collusion... with the Russian government to hurt this country, which I have served with honor for 35 years... is an appalling and detestable lie," Sessions said.
Sessions also blasted accusations that he lied to Sen. Al Franken (D-Minn.) during his confirmation hearing in January.
He said that reports of him being present at a gala also attended by Russian envoy Sergey Kislyak are "entirely beside the point" of the Senate's probe.
