Sean Hannity said that one of the biggest losers from former FBI Director James Comey's testimony before the Senate Intelligence Committee was the anti-President Trump mainstream media.

In a monologue tonight, Hannity said that the mainstream press is now facing a "massive credibility crisis" after Comey "humiliated" them during the hearing.

Hannity explained that Comey testified that many of the media's stories about alleged collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia are just "dead wrong."

"The challenge - and I'm not picking on reporters - about writing stories about classified information is the people talking about it often don't really know what's going on," Comey said. "And those of us who actually know what's going on are not talking about it."

Hannity pointed out that even MSNBC's Chris Matthews is now having trouble with the notion that there was collusion between the Trump campaign and Russia.

Hannity said that all the "destroy-Trump media's" theories about Russia have "come apart at the seams."

"They've been lying to you, the American people," Hannity said.
