Policy

The CBC/Radio-Canada will not air more advertising on its broadcast services than permitted by CRTC Regulations and Conditions of Licence.

On television, the amount will not exceed the maximum number of minutes of advertising material permitted for broadcast by the CRTC. The CBC/Radio-Canada, however, may choose to further limit the amount of advertising that it will permit in any given program.

CBC/Radio-Canada Radio services are commercial-free. Exceptions are limited to those allowed under Conditions of Licence.
