The South Columbia Search and Rescue Team (SCSR) in West Kootenay is looking for a man who went missing after an incident on the Columbia river near Trail Monday.
Three men were out on the river last night on a Sea-Doo when it hit a wave.
Rescuers say two men apparently made it to shore, one person did not. Crews were called out around 7 p.m. PT but the search was eventually suspended after dark.
A helicopter, boats and a ground search were sent out this morning in an effort to find the missing person.
