Steven Guiton
Executive Vice-President, Media Technology and Infrastructure ServicesMr. Guiton is responsible for CBC/Radio-Canada’s technology and infrastructure operations, including broadcast, network, and digital media systems, information technology, engineering, distribution networks, as well as the Corporation’s real estate portfolio. In this role, Mr. Guiton is leading the consolidation and modernization of CBC/Radio-Canada’s technology and infrastructure in support of the public broadcaster’s transformation into a modern public media company.
Before becoming Executive Vice-President, Mr. Guiton served as Vice-President Technology and Chief Regulatory Officer, responsible for moving content across the Corporation’s national, regional, and local networks, as well as overseeing regulatory issues and compliance for all of the Corporation’s radio, television and digital services. Mr. Guiton is also a former telecom and cable executive.
Mr. Guiton holds an M.A. in Economics from Simon Fraser University and a B.A. in Economics and Commerce from the University of Toronto; he also attended the University of British Columbia for doctoral studies in Economics.
