At a "First 100 Days" town hall event tonight, an "Angel Mom" explained why she's a strong supporter of President Trump's policies aimed at cracking down on illegal immigration.
Laura Wilkerson, whose son was murdered by an illegal immigrant, said that the U.S. has "run amok" by failing to enforce immigration laws.
"You don't want to wait until they murder your kid until you say, 'Time out. Now you're in trouble,'" Wilkerson said. "It's ridiculous."
She said that people are bound to be inconvenienced by Trump's policies, but it's nothing compared to the pain of burying your child.
"Nobody gets sanctuary from the law. There's nothing I could do and be given sanctuary from it. And there's no reason for anybody else to have that as well."
