Policy 1.3.8: Advertising Directed to Children Under 12 Years of Age

Policy

The CBC/Radio-Canada does not accept advertising of any kind in programming and websites designated by the CBC/Radio-Canada as directed to children under 12 years of age. Products that appeal to children and in their normal use require adult supervision may not be advertised in station breaks adjacent to children's programs.

The CBC/Radio-Canada may accept advertising directed to children under 12 years of age in other CBC/Radio-Canada programming and websites subject to restrictions.
