You might like to know that the Muslim extremist types you speak of were trained, armed and deployed by the CIA in the 1980s Afghan-Soviet war. The CIA even produced textbooks for Afghan schools that promoted violence and “jihad” in order to spur them into joining the CIA-backed Mujahideen cause against the Soviet occupation.
