Playing to Learn, Learning as Play: 17th- to 19th-century ‘Play-things’ for Children

On display through June 3 in the Eberly Family Special Collections Library, 104 Paterno Library. Featuring dozens of 17th- to 19th-century children’s ‘play-things,’ including geographic and moral board games, dissected maps or puzzles, paper dolls and metamorphic turn-up books.

On display through April 27 in Sidewater Commons, first floor Pattee Library. Features images from three collections in the Eberly Family Special Collections Library. Together these collections comprise one of the largest and most comprehensive resources on the history and culture of these Anabaptist groups in the United States.
