Better Call Saul is the prequel to the award-winning series Breaking Bad, set six years before Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) became Walter White’s lawyer. When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny, and, more immediately, hustling to make ends meet. Working alongside, and often against, Jimmy is "fixer" Mike Erhmantraut (Jonathan Banks), a beloved character introduced in Breaking Bad. The series will track Jimmy's transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts "criminal" in "criminal lawyer."

Amazing. I was worried that this wasn't going to be good. I've loved Bob Odenkirk for ages and thought they were selling him out, but what a pleasant surprise. Fantastic all around.

Great show, not Breaking Bad Breaking Bad is by far my favorite tv show, and this Better Call Saul is one of them. Keep in mind its not the same formula as bb, so don't be expecting it. Its pretty enjoyable, but also very boring at sometimes. However id say its been on an upswing in the last few episodes which is great.

Better Call Saul One of the better-written shows out there. I was never a Breaking Bad fan because I lacked interest in the premise. But I enjoy Saul because ethical issues and the frustrations and roadblocks of ordinary life, as well as the deliberate or forced decisions he makes, are interesting to me. I hope the quality doesn't decline with time the way Mad Men did.

Love It I can see how some people can't stand Bob Odenkirk's character, but in my situation, I felt that Jimmy/Saul was fascinating in Breaking Bad and he absolutely shines in his own show.

Think fast what a great idea, geeting to know the "Criminal Lawyer" that made Breaking Bad charm us all into loving (or hating) him. The show started off a lil slow but by the end, I had to watch the series again.

Just as good as Breaking Bad! Vince Gillagan does it again, smartly bringing back the charismatic Saul Goodman, know here as Jimmy McGill. First two episodes were great and can't wait to get hooked on this series.

Started strong... The show started with a strong, dark and brooding vibe. Over the course of nine episodes the plot has slowly drifted into an implausible absurdity. In and of itself, the writing isn't necessarily bad given the show's theme, but I feel that the storytelling has been spread so thin that I wonder if I'm watching the birth of Saul Goodman or if I'm actually watching wet paint dry. (How is there a ten minute montage!) I'm hoping this ship changes course and picks up some steam, but I'm not keeping my hopes up.
Breaking Bad writers have done it again I'm guessing the pens wouldn't stop for the writers of Breaking Bad when the series ended. Their pens brilliantly write Better Call Saul in the same fashion as BB and after watching all 6 to date, this will undoubtedly be a most watched series and I can see an Oscar in the near future.
It's almost Breaking Bad all over again When I first saw Breaking Bad I was hooked. I watched it every night; it was a part of my routine. When I found out that this is the prequel, I knew right then and there that I would love it. And I was right, so far this show is great. Hoping for the best with it. Vince Gilligan is the man!
Best TV show out there I know there is a lot of opinions that everyone has, and some will disagree and say this is bad. But it's time to break bad. No matter what, wither you hate it you must see this. And you must watch breaking bad first if you can. This is something everyone will talk about and you don't want to miss out.
Perfect show after the epic Breaking Bad!` This show has a perfect way of showing how Saul Goodman came to be who he is! Mike shows why he is the best in the business and what got him started on his path as well! Not nearly as stressful as BB but perfect execution, and great chemistry between all the actors!
Better Watch Better Call Saul Not only does this show go behind the series of 'Breaking Bad' to give u a history of the unique characters that made that series as interesting as it was. The show also can stand by itself, even if u weren't a BB fan to give u a history of Saul himself and a whole other storyline apart from BB which adventageously leads up to the character Saul portrayed in BB. I would call this a dark comedy rather than a drama.
