- OpenVPN is a client software to connect to an OpenVPN server and not a free VPN software. It allows to your own/company/university/provider OpenVPN server.

- permissions: this app ask implements a feature to import OpenVPN profiles from the SDCard/internal memory. Google categorizes this access "accessing your media and photos"

Review from Deepak Nair
I've used in the past and like the import features and interface. But I could not use with PIA as there was an error on crl-verify. Could get the same script imported to another app and connect. If u like to reproduce then use the iOS script of PIA which is an all inclusive openvpn script. ====ADDED=== Did some research.. it seems the first issue was with the importer... it somehow imported part of the crl-verify twice. After deleting it, the next error was that custom commands have a 256 charecter limit and the keystring was obviously longer :-( . However the other android client seemed to have handled this well and differently. Hope author will take a look at this....===END of ADD===

I looked at this and the PIA profiles import fine for me. You can also just remove crl-verify line from the configs. Reviews
