SAILS Program
Social, Activities, Interest, Leisure, Support
SAILS provides daytime recreation and leisure support to adults with an intellectual disability
The choices of activities offered reflect the requests, needs and wishes of each person attending the program. Individuals are provided with opportunities to participate in a range of group activities that will help develop skills to increase their independence and promote community participation in areas of their interest. Activities are both centre and community based.
Individual Support Package (ISP) funding from DHS will cover the cost of support at SAILS. There may be additional small costs for entry fees and meals on some outings.
For those without ISP funding, you can pay from your own funds. The cost will depend on the level and hours of support required. We will advise you of the cost of your support in writing before you start coming to SAILS.
