Description fails

to mention that the arms are not lined at all. They are nylon inside and out and can be very uncomfortable in cool weather. The rest of the jacket is fine, but I just don't like descriptions that conveniently leave certain parts out.

Sleeves Too Short

The sizing chart states that the arm measurement should be between 31.5" to 32" for the small size. These sleeves are only 23.5 from the shoulder hem to the very end of the sleeve. The only possible way to get even close to the 31.5, is to measure from the hood hem, and then I get up to 30". I realize it states that this chart is for reference only, but it makes it difficult to buy clothing if the size chart is off by as much as 8". The sleeves are okay as long as I don't stretch out my arms. The jacket fits good in the shoulders and around the waist. My chest is 35 and gut measures 32". I purchased to wear at work in a warehouse that can get a little cold in the winter.

Only Good For Light rain

This is a nice mild weather jacket. Out in the rain yesterday that was not even near heavy and water seeped through in several spots. If you are looking for something for the rain....look on this will not cut it. It does have a generous fit as for-mentioned. I a bit warmer than a wind breaker. Nice looking. I just think "water resistant" should be taken out of the description as it is misleading.

You get what you see

This is a practical, casual jacket. Except for sleeves, it is lined with lightweight fleece which makes it ideal for fall or mid spring weather. It is fall right now where I live, with temperatures in the mid 40's, and this jacket is doing its job (I wear it on top of a lightweight flannel shirt). What I don't like about it is the shiny nylon -- it makes it look a little cheap. But the super price (after all, it IS inexpensive!) and the comfort make that detail irrelevant: I didn't buy this jacket to wear it at the opera! Only three pockets: two at the sides (big enough for gloves but not much else) and one inside (big enough for a wallet). But then again, it's not a parka but something you put on to go out on 40/50 degree day (think about San Francisco in January). I am 5'9'' and weigh 185 #s, and the large size is comfortable enough for me to wear this jacket with a lightweight sweatshirt or flannel shirt underneath -- maybe a scarf if it is too raw outside.

Not a bad jacket but shell fabric is very thin

Overall a nice jacket for $20. Shell fabric is very thin but it is waterproof. Lining is also pretty thin but this is good for late spring early fall. Length of jacket was slightly too long.

Nice jacket!

I purchased this jacket for my son to wear to school in the fall. I wanted something heavier than a windbreaker. This fit the bill perfectly. The sleeves are not lined with fleece but are not thin like a windbreaker. They are more of a light quilted material. This jacket is best for cooler temperatures. This isn't a thin type of windbreaker.

good for a picky tween

I ordered this for my 13 year old who kept borrowing his dad jacket that was similar. It has a nice lining and is compact so its fits nicely all balled up in his locker =) Not necessarily enough for the rough winter weather but will work for a good part of the fall/winter.
