@MichelleLynneB I feel the problem with Kick-Ass 2 was it tossed a lot of the best parts of the first out the window, emphasized bad parts -

@MichelleLynneB …and even if McLovin felt no emotion, there should have been a scene to address how weird that is -
@MichelleLynneB also, I felt it was weird that McLovin killed his own mother by accident and he felt no emotion at all -
@MichelleLynneB also I didn't like how they treated Kick-Ass's gf from the first movie and Night Bitch was a really shallow character -
@MichelleLynneB like I'd still say Kick-Ass 2 was a lot more watchable than I was expecting given it's score on Rotten Tomatoes -
@MichelleLynneB it's not just gross in that "diarrhea vomiting" scene either, the soul/themes/tone gets really ugly in spots -
@MichelleLynneB but for this, it just sort of feels like it was given to a director that didn't fully know when to hold back on things -
@MichelleLynneB like it's weird, Kick-Ass 1 technically had a lot of the same issues as Kick-Ass 2 but is was so fun, you could forgive it -
@MichelleLynneB also it didn't ring true to me to see Hit Girl in such a passive role, in the first she'd punch those mean girls in the face
