DISNEY UTV Tops Worldwide Box Office In First Six Months Of Year

Disney UTV is on a huge high in 2013! At close to the halfway mark of the year, the studio has carved out for itself by far the largest chunk of the box office pie, both in India and Overseas.

Disney UTV releases account for almost 45 per cent of the Indian box office and more than 40% of the international box office this year!

In the largest film producing nation in the world it is an incredible achievement for just one studio to have garnered such a huge piece of the pie! UTV has released the Top 2 grossing films so far this year in India (YehJawaaniHaiDeewani and Race 2), and has wowed audiences with path breaking high concept movies like Kai Po Che and ABCD. The Studio has had just 6 Hindi releases this year and has still managed to notch up this statistic.
