Kotor2Files.com was launched on 27th of April 2005, with its first admin (and site propser) Nateanite, long standing member of the network, taking the lead. We hope our newest baby does well smile

About FilesNetwork

FilesNetwork is a network of gaming modification and files websites, The people behind FilesNetwork currently consists of around 150 gamers just like the people that visit our sites. We have a small group of Network Admins, then each site has 1 or 2 Site Managers and under them are the rest of our staff; File Posters, News Posters, Reviewers, Interviewers, etc.

The real roots of FilesNetwork lie at the now way dusty CheatFiles.com. Back in 1998, Jos Jongejan (Pro-Filer), FilesNetwork Founder, started his first real homepage over at Geocities called "Dexter's Ultimate Cheatzone". A few months later it was renamed to CheatFiles and the first files.com domain name was registered! After finishing the system behind it and adding a ton of cheats, Pro then went on to create Demo-Files.com which is also no longer updated. Then in late 1999, an upcoming game by Raven Software caught Pro's eye; Soldier of Fortune.It was gonna run on the Quake engine meaning there'd be plenty of modding to do. Remembering the frustration of finding a site to his likings where he could get maps, skins, mods etc, he decided to launch the very first FilesNetwork site, SoFFiles was born. After the great succes of SoFFiles, which remains up to this day the #1 resource for SoF (2) players, things got rolling and DiabloIIFiles and EFFiles saw the light. After the successes of these sites, there was no way back.

FilesNetwork has become so big that it is now supported by FileFront, one of FilesNetwork's long time file download mirrors, and with FileFront's help FilesNetwork is moving to new heights! All the FilesNetwork sites will be relaunching with a new front-end system and FilesNetwork will continue to be the #1 network for modifications on the internet!
