Kill Marlena - File Description  


Description:
YES, THIS IS MY FIRST KOTOR MOD!

On Tatooine, when you first get into the Dune Sea, you encounter a woman named Marlena. She has set a trap to kill her husband, and she openly admits this to the player.
I have always been bothered by the fact that you cannot do anything to stop her. I made this mod in order to counter that. There will now be a series of dialogue options
available to the player in order to kill this murderous woman. You must select the "You sound like you're planning to kill him." option from the dialogue menu, followed by
the "So you ARE planning on killing him, then?" option. Then a new series of options will be available, and depending on your choices, you can still have her walk away,
gain light, or dark side points, and ultimately fight and kill her.

She is a strong opponent, and adds more variety of fighting to Tatooine. She also gives much experience and drops some nice items including a lightsaber crystal upon death.
As she plays such a small role in the game, killing her will not affect any other aspects of the game, other than exacting revenge on such a person.

||||NOTE|||| This mod will not change the appearance of the player, HK-47, OR MARLENA'S HEAD. These were all changes made in other mods that managed to get into the screenshot.
This mod will NOT edit .2da files, NOR change any character appearances.

There is also a typo in one of the screenshots. This has been edited in the mod, itself.

Installation
============

Unzip the .zip file and put the two files, "tat18_10wife_01.UTC" and "tat18_10wife_01.DLG", into your override folder. Your game must, obviously, be before you enter the Dune Sea,
as this is the first and only time you encounter Marlena.

Uninstallation
==============

Simply take the two files, "tat18_10wife_01.UTC" and "tat18_10wife_01.DLG", out of your override folder.
