The Carbon Storage Taskforce (CSTF) was established by the Australian Government under the National Low Emissions Coal Initiative in October 2008, to develop the National Carbon Mapping and Infrastructure Plan.
The Minister for Resources and Energy released the CSTF report in November 2010. The report has been published in two formats - a concise version and a full version. An 8-page brochure drawn from the report, titled "Australia's Potential for the Geological Storage of CO2", has also been published.
To inform the development of the report, the CSTF commissioned a number of supplementary studies and a suite of basin montages. They are provided here for general information only.
