Global Campaign Against Impunity

Murder is the ultimate form of censorship. Since 1992, more than 550 journalists have been murdered in direct relation to their work, but convictions are won in only about one in 10 cases. With support from the Knight Foundation, CPJ is waging a global campaign to combat impunity, focusing on Russia and the Philippines.
