Burger Highlife is a special music style created in Germany by immigrated Ghanaian musicians. They brought the Highlife from Ghana and further developed it, thus creating a crossover mixture of highlife, disco and funk music.
The project "Made in Germany – A Celebration of Burger Highlife" brings together pioneers of Burger Highlife: George Darko, Pat Thomas, Bob Fiscian, Charles Amoah, Lee Dodou, the Lumba Brothers, McGod and Akyeame as well as providing an insight into the history of Burger Highlife and his impact to Ghanaian popmusic.
