Free PR to be won as the new Morgan PR website is launched

Welcome to the Morgan PR’s new website! Today we are officially launching our third generation of website appearance since our launch in 2002 and it is bursting with useful resources and most importantly brings the popular Morgan PR blog front and centre.

The regularly updated blog means the website is regularly updated and the search engines like Google positively and absolutely love fresh content - we have been in beta for just a few days and have already been indexed and are achieving high results!

The website is the culmination of several months rewarding collaboration with Adrian Scott and the team at Companion Computers. Adrian is a fellow member of the Newbury Business Group and we had already worked together on a number of websites for Morgan PR clients and has become one of our associates.

We are truly delighted with the calibre of website they have produced to host our content, not least the blog engine created to ensure other relevant posts appear alongside what our readers choose to click, making the experience more rewarding.

To celebrate the launch of our new website we are having a competition to win some terrific free public relations from Morgan PR here on our new website and in our monthly newsletter ‘Creating Reputations’

The Prize

Have you seen our 'Free Resources' page? It is brimming with the useful downloads that have proved so popular with the subscribers to our monthly ‘Creating Reputations’ newsletter.

The Morgan PR team will then work with the winner to design and write their very own download which will be offered in the June edition of ‘Creating Reputations’ and added to our ‘Free Resources’ web page. We will also link to the download for at least a further three editions of the popular newsletter. It will be promoted on Twitter and LinkedIn too.

Wait... there’s more!

We will also create a 400 word blog post to further promote their business offering with Google enticing key phrases, together with any logo and up to two submitted photographs. This will increases the winner’s e-footprint and drive traffic to their own website and most likely generate enquiries. We will also link to this from our newsletter edition announcing the winner.

Even More prizes!

Three runners up will also be given a mini profile here on the Morgan PR blog, consisting of 250 search engine friendly words about their business and a logo or submitted photograph that will carry on encouraging people to visit their website in the days, weeks, months and even years to come.

Everyone’s a winner!

Our new integrated blog makes it very easy to comment on posts and includes fields for your website, blogs, Twitter and LinkedIn – these too are important inbound links that will be followed by those charming robots from Google and the other search engines – to your own web profile, increasing your online performance.

These are fantastic prizes from Morgan PR, and well worth having if you're serious about promoting yourself online.

Links from well regarded websites such as this are a valuable asset in enhancing your own Google listings, so I'd highly recommend entering this competition!

The Internet Psychologist and blogger extraordinaire Graham Jones said:

Graham Jones, The Internet Psychologist endorses Morgan PR online PR competitonPeople who use the Internet are interested in fresh, new content. They don’t want the same old stuff they’ve read before. And that’s why blogs, press releases, Tweets on Twitter and answers on LinkedIn, for instance, are all essential components in an interesting online business.

If you don’t spend time on providing fresh, vibrant material for the Internet, your business will ultimately suffer – particularly in search engine ranking, because search engines love new content as well.

Now the important part: How to Enter

Entry is easy and free. Once you have had a look around the website simply add a comment to this blog post at the bottom of the page. It really is that simple!

What should you write?

What do you love about our news website?

What might you change?

Is there anything missing?

Please don’t write anything offensive or try to sell! All posts are vetted before publication, and remember that you’ll get promoted through adding your details on the posts. You can comment more than once if you have something to add to the debate, however there will be only one prize per poster.

Smallish print

The closing date for applicable blog posts is midday (GMT) on Friday 22nd May and the winner will be the first post chosen at random from all the published posts and the runners up will be the next three posts chosen at random. We will contact the winners and their details (name, business and website only) will also announced on this website. Decision will be final.

Clean design and informative and more importantly, current stories. On your 'How to Choose a Photographer' story, you really should have a 'Free Resources' as a link. Or just link to our similar article at http://www.professional-images.com/opinion2.htm! Good stuff and good luck!

This web site is interesting, innovative, honest and courageous. It is an antidote to the onslaught of media bombardment and offers compelling reasons to stop surfing and be proactive. Simply put stop searching, start exploring. Inspiration and passion is an amazingly effective way to get like minded people to join in being happy at work and play. Is it possible for a link to past articles so we get the whole story as it unfolds? Warm regards Tim Soden

Clear, concise, no nonsense content. Inspirational and relevant. Offer of generous and non gratuitous PR opportunity for the lucky winner - priceless! What about moving your articles column to the left - visitors read in an "F" - the right hand side is often ignored.

The site looks bright and interesting. It grabs your attention and wants the reader to look more. Couple of 'points for improvement' - the links on the right hand side don't seem to actually go anyway. Once you click off the 'home' page - it's not immediately obvious how to get back again. I wanted to click on 'welcome' but that just tells me about you wonderful people. I like the way that the site is constantly changing - means I'll keep coming back for more.

Hi Nigel, A great re-design with a clean look and feel to it with a great navigation to make it easy to get round the site. I see you have links for Women in Newbury and the FBBC yet no link for 4N? Tut tut matey - anyway great site and the resources will come in handy!

Great new website - full of interesting and clear features. I would prefer to read it if the the articles column and this main bit were switched over ..i.e the articles on the left hand side. Other than that and the fact that your mystery shopper application page still 'needs form here' I thought it was excellent!

Great site. Being a visual person I really am drawn by the photo leads that then lead me to the headline text. The only problem though is that I dont have time to read it through right now, but I will be back to take in some more... nice problem to have I suppose. What's missing? I don't have time to see it all right now but what is the breadth of the clients that you work with? I heard you talk at the Chamber lunch last week, hence I was drawn to the site. Twitter download will be most useful. I would like to talk to you about a PR challenge that we have.

Hi Nigel & Diane, Congratulations on a job well-done. First off, I love how you've allowed visitors to input their contact information, including Twitter and LinkedIn. It's a great feature. What I like best is how easy it is to navigate throughout your site. The forest is not lost for the trees. The uncluttered layout makes it easy to see what you are offering, with scintillating titles that encourage you to read more! As far as your previous site...I can't remember, so that's a good thing! Kudos to Adrian Scott at Companion Computers!

Thank you everyone who has entered the competition! We will be drawing the winner and three runners up later today and contacting them directly before posting the results on this website! The feedback has been great and those who suggested changes may have noticed some have already happened! And do check your analytics - you should already have noticed traffic being generated by the links that follow your comments!
