Case Study - Regent Lettings
Background
I have been pleased with how our Newbury based property rental agency Regent Lettings had developing but am conscious that we continually need to look at reviewing our marketing and public relations if we are to continue to be recognised as leading lettings specialists in West Berkshire.
Considering options
I had an initial meeting with Diane Morgan of Morgan PR and Lucy Venables of Red Prosper Marketing to discuss our main objective of letting potential customers know about our customer service ethos.
We also wanted to inform the public of what is happening within our sector in a difficult recessionary market and what triggers someone to become a Landlord (who we prefer to call a client) or a tenant (who we prefer to call a customer) at this time.
The main drive was to attract new clients knowing that both they and their customers could rest at ease that they would all be looked after and in a professional manor.
In the circumstances we agreed that an advertising feature in the Newbury Weekly News’ monthly publication, Newbury Business Today, was the correct marketing tool and an article would appear in the newspaper and also online.
The interview
Nigel Morgan from Morgan PR came to my office with a full brief and took the time to talk to me in an informal manner – there was no sense of being interviewed which was great! The result of this was almost without me knowing it Nigel had obtained information, quotes and anecdotes which I recognised in the final copy had captured our company and the message I wished to put across in not only an accurate way but in a manner that was interesting to read.
Over delivery and exceptional results
The result of the advertorial was better than I could have imagined with a new client making an appointment to see me which resulted in letting three of his properties with a further three now in the pipeline. With thanks to Morgan PR and their associates – excellent service with modern up to the minute ideas yet balanced with good old fashioned customer service values!
