Volunteer

ICCB welcomes volunteers to assist with our conference!

Key activities provided by volunteer delegates include audiovisual assistance during conference sessions, preparation of conference registration materials, assistance on field trips, assistance with registration and information booths. As in previous years, ICCB will reimburse a portion of registration fees for volunteer service. Volunteers will receive reimbursement of paid registration in the amount of $100 (~50% of student/low income country registration fees) per 4 hours of volunteer service.

We need approximately 100 volunteers, and anticipate our key volunteer base will be students from New Zealand universities. Volunteers from outside New Zealand will be accepted on a first come, first served basis, with preference that this financial assistance go toward students and low income country delegates. Volunteers will be required to attend an instruction meeting on the afternoon of 5th December at SkyCity convention centre, just prior to the opening events of the conference.

If you are interested in volunteering, please email our volunteer chair: Rosalynn Anderson-Lederer. If all volunteer spots are not filled, we will invite volunteers to fill a second 4 hour volunteer slot.
