Foot

If you have time on your hands and you are light on your feet, then walking is the best way to appreciate all that Covent Garden has to offer. It costs you nothing, doesn’t harm the environment and gives you the opportunity to stop and go as you like. So to make sure you don’t miss a thing, put your best foot forward and step on.

To fully appreciate all that London has to offer the best was to go is on foot, armed with a map (which can be downloaded from the link above) you will be able to discover much more as you can stop at your convenience when something interesting happens to catch your eye. The main Covent Garden Piazza is fully pedestrianised as is Trafalgar Square so you needn’t worry about the traffic or cyclists. There is much to discover everywhere nearby, see the history links for information about what has happened before on the streets that you tread.
