With a name like Myata, or “Mint”, the cafe down by Novodevichy Convent was always going to be a summery kind of place. Now the eatery has just given its summer menu a makeover, adding even more warm-weather dishes for the summer season. New nibbles include salmon carpaccio with citrus fruit under a smoked basil sauce (450 rubles), warm seafood salad with cream of sea scallops (550 rubles) and passion fruit panna cotta with berry sauce (290 rubles). And for those looking to chill out, there is also a new collection of cooling cocktails such as “Summer Evening in Gagra” in a frozen pomegranate (700 rubles), “Summer Queen” with Irish cream, strawberries and cream (350 rubles), and a “Summer Freeze” with currents, rum and soda (350 rubles).
