Medway Council's main housing office is based at Chatham contact point.

Medway Council, working with community partners, also provides access to housing services locally through different agencies and partners.

Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB)

Mondays and Thursdays, 9am to 4pm
CAB provides independent domestic abuse advice. CAB officers offer advice and assistance to victims of domestic violence, domestic abuse (physical, mental), threatening behaviour, controlling lives, or any other forms of harassment.

Housing-related Support Assessment Service

Tuesdays, 1pm To 4pm
Assessment officers work with vulnerable people to identify the kind of help that would allow them to live successful, independent lives. The service is open to all age groups.

Polish Language Surgery 

Wednesday, 9.15 to 10.45am
A Polish interpreter will help Polish people to establish communication with other service providers within and outside the council.

Lithuanian Language Surgery

Wednesday, 10.45 to 11.45am
A Lithuanian interpreter will help Lithuanian people to establish communication with other service providers within and outside the council.

Family Information Service

Wednesdays, 9am to 11.45am
Family Information Officers will offer advice and assistance with parenting and family support, childcare, help with childcare costs, work-life balance information for working parents, as well as signposting support for practitioners working with families with various needs.

Shelter Debt Advice

Wednesdays, 10am to 1pm
Shelter Debt Advice provides advice for those struggling with mortgage payments, other debts, facing re-possession due to rent arrears and assistance with Housing, Welfare Benefits and Community Care.

TNG UK

Wednesdays, 9 to 11.45am
TNG Officers will work with jobless people to get them back to work. They also provide help and assistance with pre-employment training.

Deaf Services

Wednesdays, 9 to 1pm
Medway Deaf Services officer on duty will provide services to people who are deaf, or have a hearing loss.

Medway Mediation

Fridays, 10am to 1pm
Mediators provide young people and their family/friends to resolve differences between them that would otherwise result in them being made homeless or put at risk of eviction.
