Planning

Medway Council's Development Control Service deals with planning applications for all types of work from household extensions to major developments, such as power stations or large housing developments.

The council provides a range of electronic services, for example Planning Online, which allows customers to look at planning application details and associated documents, such as any appeals lodged against an application or information about conditions that are linked to planning consent. You can also make comments on an application electronically.

Customers can submit planning applications electronically through the Planning Portal, a dedicated national website that also provides further information on the planning and appeals process in England and Wales. If you do not want to use the portal to submit an application, you can download the application forms from this website.

There is also a handy quick list of planning applications received in the last week.
