UK Welfare Foundation
The UK Welfare Foundation (www.ukwelfarefoundation.org/)
is a UK registered charity set up to help those in need in the UK
and the rest of the world.
Its overseas work is currently focused on helping people rebuild
their lives following the devastating south Asia earthquake on 8
October 2005 and the foundation expects to work in this area for
the next 10 years. This charity is actively involved in rebuilding
schools, setting up widow and orphan schemes, water pipe schemes
and working together with other foreign non-governmental
organisations (NGOs).
The foundation can assist people by:
- helping with filling in forms, including passports, visas and
medical forms;
- speaking or writing to other organisations on behalf of
people;
- providing a free interpretation service in Urdu, Hindi and
Punjabi;
- attending appointments with you if your English is not
fluent;
- providing an advocacy service as well as providing any other
assistance.
The foundation works on a voluntary basis and one of its areas
of work is assisting the local community. If you would like this
charity to assist, you please do not hesitate to contact it.
The UK Welfare Foundation provides a confidential service and no
