Salman can’t stand the sight of Bhansali

The war of words between Salman and Bhansali doesn’t seem to have ended yet. After Salman criticised Guzaarish at an event, the rumour doing the rounds is that the actor later apologised to the director for his nasty comments. But this rumour has not gone down well with Salman Khan. His camp has made it very obvious that there is no love lost between him and Bhansali. Now, the once close friends can’t stand the sight of each other.

A close friend of Salman’s said, “Everyone is aware that Salman wanted to remake Prestige and had told Bhansali that they should work on the project together. But Bhansali got inspired by Prestige and made Guzaarish with Hrithik. Salman, who is known to go all out for his friends, felt cheated and the headstrong actor felt he had been let down. Still, he expected Bhansali to call him and clear the air. Instead, Bhansali chose to badmouth Salman in print, even going to the extent of saying that he (Bhansali) does not want to do anything with Salman and that he has shelved the idea of making Bajirao Mastani.”

The friend added, “Salman is surprised that Bhansali decided to shoot his mouth off. The relationship is over from Salman’s side. And things won’t change till Salman wants them to.” So does that mean these two will never work together again? In this industry, we guess it is a case of never say never.
