Sheng Liang, CEO and Founder

Sheng is the CEO and founder of Cloud.com, where he drives the vision and overall direction for the company as it transforms the way business can harness the power of their own cloud. Sheng is a recognized expert in virtualization technologies as the lead developer on the original Java Virtual Machine team at Sun Microsystems. Sheng was co-founder and CTO of Teros (acquired by Citrix), a leader in perimeter and network security solutions for enterprises and service providers. Sheng has also held technology leadership roles at SEVEN Networks and Openwave systems where he developed software products for leading service providers and operators around the globe.

Peder Ulander, Chief Marketing Officer

Peder is the Chief Marketing Officer where he sets the direction and strategy around corporate identity, product marketing and demand generation. Peder is passionate about new, disruptive markets and has a strong track record of bringing new, market defining open source technologies to market. Prior to joining cloud.com, Peder was the senior vice president of marketing at Sun Microsystems where he was responsible for open sourcing the Java platform, building a growth business with OpenSolaris and establishing Sun as a leader in the open source enterprise software market. Throughout his career, Peder has contributed to the success of of a number of open source technology startups like Cobalt Networks (acquired by Sun) and MontaVista Software (acquired by Cavium Networks) as well as held product leadership positions at Cisco and Symantec.

Shannon Williams, Vice President of Business Development

Shannon is the Vice President of Business Development, where he is responsible for all sales and business development activities for Cloud.com. Prior to joining Cloud.com, Shannon was the Vice President and General Manager of Europe for Solidcore Systems (acquired by McAfee). With a strong background in building successful startups, Shannon has held leadership positions with SeeCommerce (acquired by NCR), Teros (acquired by Citrix) and Securant Technologies (acquired by RSA) over the last 15 years

Kevin Kluge, Vice President of Engineering

Kevin is the Vice President of Engineering of cloud.com, where he leads all of the product development activities at cloud.com. Prior to joining cloud.com, Kevin was vice president of Engineering for Zimbra (acquired by Yahoo!), where he helped establish the company as the leader in open source collaboration and email solutions. Kevin has also held senior engineering positions at Corvigo (acquired by Tumbleweed), Onebox.com (acquired by Phone.com), Portola Communications (acquired by Netscape), and Sun Microsystems. Kevin has a BS and MS in Computer Science from Stanford University.

Kyle MacDonald, Chief Evangelist

Kyle MacDonald acts as Cloud.com's Chief Evangelist, responsible for building relationships with key strategic partners and market influencers. Most recently, Kyle served as vice president of corporate development and strategy for Hosting.com which was acquired by Wachovia Capital Partners in 2008. Prior to Hosting.com, MacDonald was director of global programs and business development for the Web 2.0, Internet and next generation service providers sector at Sun Microsystems. MacDonald also held the position of corporate technologist at AMD where he led the team in developing key strategic alliances with companies such as IBM, BEA, Adobe, EMC and Symantec.
